This gorgeous maple is undoubtedly the best dwarf grown. The leaves are the regular size and green, but lay over each other in a horizontal manner. A natural bonsai! The tree is slow growing, and in the spring the new growth is florescent, giving great pleasure to the gardener. The layered leaves are quite 'bunched' up and make a look like no other Japanese maple. After 10 years, the tree will only be 3 feet tall and about the same wide.
