Pinus pumila 'Jeddeloh' is an interesting cultivar of the Japanese Stone Pine that is 'ground hugging' and bushy. The plant has blue needles mixed with green, giving the plant a 'bluish' color in the landscape. It is a long lived tree and will thrive in well drained soil that is a bit on the dry side. Pruning rarely needed, but the new growth can be pruned to make the plant very compact. Considered a 'dwarf' conifer as it grows about 3 inches per year, and will be 2 ft tall and 4 ft wide in 10 years.
