Because it has an open, yet bushy habit, this unique Japanese maple resembles a 'miniature' tree. It will grow to be 6 ft tall and perhaps 3-4 feet across. Many colors decorate this tree through the seasons, starting with a lime green and red accents in the spring. Then in summer the leaves shade to bright lime green, followed by yellow and orange in the fall, and finally a rich fiery red in fall. Sun or part shade. Hardy to zone 5. Drought tolerant.
