Tundra is a miniature form of Korean fir, and will be 1 ft tall x 2 ft wide in 10 years. The plant has very attractive shiny needles, and makes an almost perfect cushion of soft dark-green color. The undersides of the needles are silver-gray in color. Very suitable for small gardens, rockeries, or planting in a large container for the patio. Also, popular for bonsai because of its sturdy trunk. Plant in well drained soil with lots of organic material. Hardy to -30 degrees F. USDA zone 4.
