A medium size Chinese silver fir that is native to parts of Yunnan, China as well as Tibet, India, Myanmar, and Vietnam. A high altitude mountain tree that has needles resembling the Spanish fir, Abies pinsapo, but with shiny dark-green leaves that have vivid snow-white undersides. Decorative purple-blue cones are common to see and make it very distinctive. Rare and not usually available. We only have a few.
