A Japanese selection of Daphne odora, the winter flowering Daphne. Extremely fragrant white flowers with pink edges on a plant with all dark-green glossy leaves. The plant makes a nice dense shrub, especially if pinched to create more side branching. The plant need some sun or bright light to perform well, but does not like baking in all day sun. Seems to be hardier than the variegated winter daphnes, and can grow in zones 7 to 9. Will perfume the air in February and March, so plants near your living space for enjoyment.
