Bright yellow-gold leaves on red stems makes this fuchsia a landscaper's dream. Here on the coast in the Pacific Northwest we can grow this plant in full sun where is has the brightest foliage. It is greener in the shade and seems to flower more there, but we like the golden accent in our gardens against the dark green conifers, rhododendrons, or hydrangeas. The red flowers with purple corollas will bloom from May until frost, usually December for us. Deciduous in the winter, but come summer the hummingbird flock to this great garden gem.
