This form of Rhododendron augustinii var. chasmanthum has lighter, pale lavender flowers with very light green spots in the dorsal lobe. Mixes nicely with some of the darker blue and purple forms, making a luscious display in mid spring. The plant grows taller than wide, reaching 10 ft tall in 10 years. From Tower Court gardens in Great Britain.

Rare Variety – This variety is difficult to find anywhere due to these reasons
·        Hard to propagate – many cultivars do not root easily from cuttings, but at a reduced rate thus making the plant rare.
·        Hard to find – these cultivars are hard to find in the first place, probably because they are hard to root from cuttings
