Taxus × media 'Beanpole' is an extremely narrow, slow growing, fastigiate selection of Anglo-Japanese yew with dark green foliage and abundant fruit. After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will stand 6 feet (2 m) tall and only 2 feet (60 cm) wide, an annual growth rate of nearly 12 inches (30 cm).
