Are you looking for a compact red rhododendron? Well, look no further. Here is an excellent mounding rhododendron with nice bright red flowers that will not grow to be more than 4 ft tall and wide. Created by the late H.L. Larson of Tacoma Washington in the 1960's, this compact red flowering rhododendron is one of only a few that have these qualities. Great for landscaping smaller gardens. The flowers bloom in late April or early May. Like a bit of shade. Named after a Native American tribe from Washington State.
