Abe Arnott

Abe Arnot is gorgeous, medium growing rhododendron.  Roughly 4 to 5ft tall and wide in 10 years, Abe Arnot is a true purple with a dark purple throat.  The foliage is a medium matte green.  This plant makes an excellent back drop in a layered garden and adds something lovely to just about any color scheme.  A purple lover's dream for sure.
