Here is another excellent dwarf and compact blue-purple, small leaved rhododendron. The plant flowers in April and May, covering itself with the glowing flowers and attracting attention. We love the name, and it is almost singing when it blooms. The foliage is shiny and small, but dense making a very attractive specimen over time. Good choice for the rock garden or container on the deck. Hardy to zone 7.
