Fool your friends with this blue-purple flowering rhododendron that looks like an evergreen azalea due to its tiny leaves. Interestingly, there are no blue colored evergreen azaleas, so this seems like a novelty to some gardeners. The plant is quite bushy, making a nice hedge when planted in linear mass. The flowers almost completely cover the plant when in full bloom. In winter, the foliage turns a nice bronze tone. Hardy to -5 deg F.
