Luscious red-purple leaves on blackish colored stems that are very pendulous make this a most interesting and attractive tree. A weeping form of the European Purple Beech that will be the focal point of your garden. This tree grows faster than you would think by looking at it. A central leader should be formed by staking for the first year or two, then it is on its own. All of the side branches go down. We love the way it blends into any planting. Wonderful and recommended!
