Pixie will be a lovely, compact, upright tree. The new growth in spring is bright red and settles in to a deep purplish red by summer. Pixie has a very dense growth habit and will top off at 6 feet in 10 years. This 6 foot, upright, red maple will be a bush or a tree, whatever your vision dictates!
