Pinus mugo 'Wintersonne'
The golden-yellow winter foliage is very showy and is the reason for its name. This cultivar seems to have slightly twisted foliage and grows in a wider than tall, spreading habit. In spring/summer the new growth is bright limey-green, but in winter it takes center stage! Candling in spring will keep this one tight and compact. You can count on 4 seasons of interest from this lovely mugo pine.
