Here is a nice well behaved hybrid between a Serbian spruce and a Brewers spruce that was made at Kurt Wittboldt-Muller Nursery in Verden, Germany in the early 2000's. Named for a Germanic god, it is a smaller grower becoming 24 inches tall and 18 inches wide in 10 years. Annual growth rate of 2 inches with blue-green irregular, clumpy branching, and asymmetrical growth. Hardy to zone 5.
