We consider this a semi-dwarf form of Hinoki Cypress, as it grows larger than most of the others. The foliage is a very dark green with cup-shaped leaves that layer against each other, giving a very pleasing effect. Excellent choice for framing an entryway, either in the ground or in containers. Hardy to USDA zone 5.
