Mrs. D.F. Maxwell

Mrs. D.F. Maxwell

Perhaps the most popular heath, worldwide, of all species. Found by Mrs. Maxwell on the Lizard Peninsula, Cornwall, England while on her honeymoon.  The plant is such a nice mounder with rich, deep rose-pink flowers covering the plant from July into October.  The foliage is a very nice dark green and very tight and attractive.  Winner of the Award of Garden Merit trophy.
