Miscanthus sinensis 'Morning Light'
This clumping grass really glows! The narrow foliage is green with white variegation on the margins, giving it a silvery appearance. This one grows 4-6 ft tall and has tiny reddish-copper flowers above the foliage in mid to late September, which is later than most of the other Miscanthus cultivars. The flower plumes persist well into winter providing interest. 'Morning Light' is somewhat smaller, and a more finely textured version of the popular M. s. 'Gracillimus'.
