Unique to the pines, twisted needles are the rage, and this is a good one. Selected out of a batch of seedlings of Pinus strobus 'Torulosa', this cultivar has light bluish-green needles that are soft and twisted around the stem. The plant will only grow 2-4 inches per year, resulting in a specimen 3-4 ft tall and wide in 10 years. The form is globose. The look of the twisted needles makes this variety very unique and an excellent focal point for any conifer garden.
