R. stenopetalum var. Linearifolium
Very thin strap-like leaves and flower petals characterize this unusual rhododendron species. The species R. stenopetalum is native to Japan, but this form 'Linearifolium' is not found growing in the wild, so is considered a cultivar. The plant will grow 3ft tall and the same wide, and has a soft and fluffy appearance. Often flowering in late spring and again in autumn.
