When we first saw this attractive Lavender, we were struck by the bright silver foliage, but then we became aware of the unusual two-toned flowers, adding to its value. Dark plum flowers are topped by violet flags, like butterfly wings. Because of its fragrance, we recommend that it be planted close to your living areas, like patios and porches where you can enjoy it up close. Does well in containers as well. Other quality features include, drought tolerant, bee and butterfly friendly, deer resistant, good for cut flowers, and evergreen. Hardy to zone 6.
