This is a dwarf bonsai type of Cedar of Lebanon that originated in New Zealand. The leaves are a rich blue-green on a very small plant growing only about an inch per year. This is a true rockery gem. The plant spreads horizontally, with little height gained each year. Cedrus libani is native to mountainous areas of Lebanon, Syria and Turkey. 'Katere' is a witches broom from this large growing middle eastern tree.
