Created by Jennifer Rothrock, then grown on and propagated by Singing Tree Gardens, this wonderful FRAGRANT hybrid is the result of crossing R. decorum x R. 'Nelda Peach'. There are many sister seedlings from this cross that are worthwhile, all being hardy and fragrant. I have won for Best Fragrant Rhododendron at our flower show here on two occasions. The fragrance is much like the Loderi rhododendrons, and will perfume the air around the plant. The foliage is excellent, and the plant will grow large, at least up to 6 ft. in 10 years. Hardy to 0 deg. F.Rare Variety – This variety is difficult to find anywhere due to these reasons
· Hard to propagate – many cultivars do not root easily from cuttings, but at a reduced rate thus making the plant rare.
· Hard to find – these cultivars are hard to find in the first place, probably because they are hard to root from cuttings
