Iris douglasiana 'Blueberry Cheesecake'

Iris douglasiana 'Blueberry Cheesecake'

We were given this cultivar of Douglas Iris by some nursery friends. It is very lovely. The flat faced blooms are white tinged with purple and gold. The flowers come out in late spring on tight, bunchy plants with dark-green narrow strap-like leaves. These plants like well drained soil with lots of organic matter, and when established, a bit on the dry side. These can be divided to move to other parts of your garden. Hardy to 30 deg F.
