Glowing gold foliage in winter is this pine's claim to fame. Discovered in the UK in the 1970's, this Scotch pine will really light up the winter landscape with its 'school bus yellow' foliage. In summer the leaves go back to a light green color, which still looks nice. This conifer will grow 8" - 12" per year, making an upright form 8 to 10 ft tall in 10 years. Can be pruned to keep to a smaller size. Hardy to zone 3.
