Clerodendrum bungei - Rose Glory Bower

A deciduous shrub from China and northern India that forms a spreading colony by suckering if not restrained. The rosy red-pink flowers are very showy and FRAGRANT, and will be blooming from summer into fall, attracting butterflies and hummingbirds. One foot long leaves have toothed edges and are a nice dark-green in color. The leaves drop in late November. The shrub will be 6-8 ft tall and will be about the same wide. The common name is Rose Glory Bower. Hardy to zone 7.
