A very unusual dwarf conifer that, as it grows, resembles (to me) a group of little people in a Japanese painting. The pointed shoots can be both juvenile or adult in shades of blue and green with crinkly, congested leaves. Growing taller than wide, and will be a mound 10"-20" tall in 10 years. This plant needs perfect drainage to thrive. Each plant with make its own sculpture...no 2 plants will look identical. Useful as an addition of texture that will set off other plants. Also known as Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Habari'.
