Found, named and registered by Larry Stanley of Stanley & Sons Nursery and also one time president of the American Conifer Society. This is truly a jewell of a plant becoming very tight and elegant over time. '22 Karat' will grow to be 3-4 ft tall and wide over time and has the classic Hinoki look with the leaves contrasting nicely in any light. One of the best dwarf conifers for shade, but will grow in full sun just as easily. Rarely needs pruning.
