Originally found by Roly Barry as a sport on Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Silver Queen'. The light silvery tips do not seem to burn, so does well in most parts of the country, although it is advised to protect from the hot afternoon sun in hot climates. Will eventually reach 5-6 ft tall, and is hardy to zone 5.
