Named for the town in the province of South Holland, this Scotch heather has some nice attributes. In summer, the foliage is a soft yellow-orange, but then in winter the plant turns a striking red-orange. Lavender flowers come out in August-September. The plant has an upright habit and will be 12" tall by 20" wide. Prune back a bit after flowering to make it compact and attractive. The shade of red is different than 'Firefly' or 'Wickwar Flame', so could look very nice if planted with those cultivars.
