Long spikes with highly congested crimson-purple flowers are displayed in abundance from mid August to mid October. This cultivar grows dense and full and puts on a fabulous show. The upright spiky nature offers great contrast to smooth horizontal foliaged plants. Prune back 3-4 inches after blooming to maintain a good looking plant.
