A nice heather with dark green foliage, growing vigorously but staying neat. Outstanding! Another Dutch introduction but this time a Gold Medal winner at Boskoop in 1978. Also a winner of the Award of Garden Merit. As this plant matures, it will produce multi-colored flowers...some pink and some red. This adds interest and draws attention.
