Another fabulous introduction by the Buchholz Nursery in Oregon that has an upright form with a broad canopy. The leaves are linearlobum and open green in spring, then start shifting towards yellow in summer, then orange in the fall. Because the leaves are narrow, it has a look of yellow threads in late summer. The tree prefers full sun or partial shade in well-drained soil. One can expect this tree to be 8 ft tall and 6 ft wide in 10 years. Hardy to zone 5.
