Finely textured leaves add a delicate look to the landscape, and is considered to be a small tree growing to just 10 ft tall. The narrow strap-like leaves come out crimson in spring, but quickly turn green, lasting all summer. Then in the fall, the foliage shifts to a yellow-orange color that is exquisite! The tree is slow growing, and is drought tolerant, and rarely needs pruning. Fertilize in the spring before the leaves emerge. Hardy to zone 5.
