This Japanese maple has leaves that resemble red bamboo leaves. Very unique! The new spring leaves emerge a bright red color, then transition to a maroon-green color for the summer. In the autumn it is a blaze of brilliant red. This tree will reach 8 feet tall eventually, and only 6 ft wide. A perfect tree for the Asian-inspired garden. Coastal areas can grow this one in full sun, while the hotter climates will need some shade. Hardy to zone 5.
