A slender form of Japanese maple growing from 6-8 ft tall in 10 years, but eventually will be 15-20 ft tall. Crinkled, variegated spring leaves have green, white and pink colors. By summer the leaves are green, but in fall the colors are brilliant red and gold. Small red flowers and decorative in spring, adding interest. A good sun-dappled understory tree. Hardy to zone 5.
