Excellent and quite appealing, this stout and uniform broom of the Nordmann fir was found in the Czech Republic, where conifer 'broom hunting' is popular. The original broom was, most likely found near the Berounka river, south-west of Prague. After 10 years this handsome cultivar will only be 20 inches tall and 16 inches wide. The dark-green needles curl upwards slightly, revealing silvery undersides. Annual growth is around 2-3 inches. Hardy to zone 5.
